Due to poor quality, and complications with our current Vent provider, we are switching to a new provider.

The new server information:
Version: 3.0
Hostname: dallas8.NationVoice.com
Port: 3826

You will notice the difference the moment you hear somebody talk. The old vent will remain up for the rest of this month with the new server information posted.

There is also a Ventrilo Status block on the main page. Feel free to "Connect Now" if you have Ventrilo installed on your system. Otherwise, Download Ventrilo 3.0 and come join us.

OMG NO KIDDING!! (capslock fury) SOOO MUCH DIFFERENT! I came in and was talking to aiwa and thought he was someone else.... I have to re-learn all the voices and match them with the right people... thats the only part that sux to me, but the quality is sooooooooo(etc.) much better. Definately hop in, Aiwa does a nice job of keeping it nice and tidy, seperate channels for different games and such, or just hop in the lobby and hang out, either or. Then if anyone needs to talk to you they know you are in the vent channel and can get a hold of you in an instant.

PS-- DON'T FORGET TO CONNECT TO THE SERVER!!! lol

We had to lock down the vent server to community only. Had a lot of random people taking up all the slots who were not affiliated with the community.

Top post updated to show the new join password for guests only.

This password does not apply to anyone that has an admin user account on vent. This only applies to guests.

Guest join password has been removed. Anyone that was using it will need to remove the password from the user auth and they shouldn't have a problem getting in.

There will be more admins around in the evening as the Tactical Advantage team will now be sharing comms with the Rear ops community.
